Brief Introduction: Prof. Jing has joined the faculty since he graduated with a master’s degree in Archaeology and Museology at JLU in 2002. He has been engaged in Xia, Shang and Zhou Archaeology and Ancient Chinese Bronzes, teaching courses including Xia, Shang and Zhou Archaeology, Ancient Chinese Bronzes, and Field Archeology Practice. Prof. Jing participated and presided over the archaeological excavations of many historic sites, such as Xiaomintun of Yin Dynasty Ruins in Anyang, Xuezhuang in Handan, Mopan Mountain in Wuchang, Weijiawopu in Chifeng, Houtaumuga in Da-an, and the North Plateau Site at Shatang, Delong County. He has undertaken 8 projects granted by the National Social Science Fund, the Humanities and Social Science Research Base approved by the Ministry of Education, and etc. He has published 4 books and archaeological reports (1 co-authored), and 55 academic papers.
