Brief Introduction: Dr. Zhang is a lecturer in the Department of Museum Studies, School of Archaeology, Jilin University. Her doctoral research studies post-colonialism and relationship ethics as theoretical perspectives. It explores the construction of cross-cultural relationships among the government, museums, research institutions, and the public, using cases related to the returning of lost cultural relics in the Chinese and Japanese context. In addition, she has been interested in the social service functions of museums, with particular emphasis on bridging museums and communities, as well as the arousal and reconstruction of public historical memory by revolutionary museums and memorials.
Her main research fields include: museum ethics, museum social services, museum international cooperation and exchange, museum digital construction, etc.
