Brief Introduction: Director of the ancient characters research office of the Institute of Ancient Books; Director of the ancient characters department of the School of Archaeology; Deputy director of the Chinese ancient characters research center of Jilin University. He joined the faculty in June 2002, mainly focusing on the teaching and research of ancient characters. In recent years, his academic interest are mainly reflected in the following three aspects: (1) Interpretation of difficult words and phrases in oracle bone scripts, and clear reading of ancient texts through textual examination and interpretation; (2) comprehensive use of oracle bone scripts, and scripts to investigate Political system and social culture during the Shang and Zhou dynasties; (3) comprehensive sorting of the research and interpretation results of oracle bone scripts and bronze scripts in the light of semantic exegesis.
