Brief Introduction: Prof. Wu has joined the Institute of Ancient Books at JLU since he graduated with a doctor’s degree in History in 1984. He is now a Kuang Yaming Distinguished professor with the Institute of Ancient Books, College of Archaeology, Jilin University. Over the years, he has achieved fruitful results in the field of unearthed documents and ancient characters. He has published 5 books (including co-authored) including “Edition of Ancient Seals”, and more than 100 papers. His affiliations include: president of the Chinese Ancient Characters Research Association (legal representative), vice chairman of the Chinese Characters Society, member of the Chinese History Group under the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and member of the National Ancient Books Sorting and Publishing Planning Leading Group.
